About our 2024-25 Season

Welcome to our calendar page!

Here we post all of the events that St. Johns Regional Audubon is planning or participating in starting in September 2024. Our regular season runs from September to May, but occasionally we do summer events as well.

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR AN EVENT

While we may post events several months in advance on this page, we only start advertising each event on social media (Eventbrite, Meetup, and/or Facebook) about six weeks prior to each event. Only when an event is advertised on social media will you be able to register to participate.

You will need to sign up for our events, either through our Eventbrite page or through a link provided by our program partner for that particular event.

  • We have partnered with St. Johns County Parks and Recreation for several family bird walks. To participate in those events, you need to sign up through the Parks and Rec’s website with the link we will provide for each event.
  • We have partnered with the Matanzas Riverkeeper for several “Litter Gitter” events throughout our season. To participate, you need to use the link we will provide to the Litter Gitter’s website.
  • We have partnered with Flagler College for a four-course series, “Birds and Birding,” in the Fall of 2024. You will need to sign up for this exciting new program through Flagler College’s Lifelong Learning Program: https://www.flagler.edu/academics/graduate-and-education-

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Most of our events are open to the public and you do not need to be a member of the SJRA to participate. Our events are free, unless there is a parking fee or visitor fee at the location we are birding.
  • We do offer bird walks and educational events to private groups.
  • Our calendar is continually updated as we add walks and events to our schedule, so we invite you to visit this page often for up-to-date information.
  • If you have any ideas or comments about our events, please do not hesitate to contact our president, Amy Koch, at president@stjohnsaudubon.com.
